Ideal Candidates
An ideal candidate for Broadband Light therapy is anyone suffering from hyperpigmentation or other irregularities in their skin. This could be due to acne, sun damage, damaged capillaries, or rosacea. Broadband light, also called BBL, also helps make the skin appear younger by stimulating the regeneration of collagen. Depending on the type of modality and filter used, the BBL® HERO™ can be used as both a treatment and/or maintenance regimen for a wide array of skin conditions. Before receiving treatment, our estheticians will explain how Broadband light technology can help achieve your desired results.
What to Expect
After developing the appropriate treatment plan, the settings of the Broadband light device will be adjusted to fit the needs of your skin. Before beginning the procedure, your eyes will be covered to protect them from the light of the laser. Our aestheticians will then gently pass the laser over your skin while concentrating on the problem areas. The amount of time needed for the treatment will vary depending on the skin condition and if any other treatments were added to the session. Typically, Broadband light procedures can be completed in about an hour or less.

I recently had a BBL treatment with Whitney. What a wonderful experience. First of all, the environment was immaculate. I didn’t feel any anxiety concerning the COVID-19 issues. Secondly, this treatment made my complexion look ten years younger. It is absolutely amazing. This is my second, 3 treatment, round of BBL. I came back to make my complexion look even better. The only negative on BBL is it is a little uncomfortable while you are being zapped. It is tolerable.

Anticipated Results
Following the treatment, a soothing cream will be applied to your skin. Our estheticians will also provide post-treatment care instructions and may advise limited sun exposure. Otherwise, patients are typically able to resume their normal daily routine. Results from the BBL® HERO™ can be seen within 2 – 6 weeks following the initial treatment, but optimal results will typically be seen after multiple BBL treatments. Our estheticians will provide the recommended number of treatments to receive your desired outcome. Overall, you should see clearer, brighter skin with fewer texture and complexion issues present.
