Upper and Lower Eyelid Surgery with Fat Transfer*

This patient in her early 50s came to Petroff Center in Lake Oswego, Oregon, seeking a more refreshed and youthful appearance. She was primarily concerned with the excess skin and heaviness of her upper eyelids, as well as prominent under-eye bags and volume loss in the tear trough area. Dr. Petroff performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty to remove redundant skin and improve the contour of the eyelids. To further restore a smooth and youthful transition from the lower eyelid to the cheek, he performed autologous fat transfer to the periorbital area. Her results show a significant improvement in eyelid definition and under-eye fullness, creating a more rested and naturally rejuvenated look.
