Chelyn is an experienced OR nurse who plays a vital role in patient care throughout the surgical process. She performs preoperative assessments, supports the surgical team during procedures, monitors recovery, and educates patients on postoperative care. Chelyn earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2002 and brings a diverse background that includes eight years in critical care and two years in facial plastic surgery and aesthetics. She joined the Petroff Center team in October 2023.
Chelyn’s favorite part of her role is working alongside an exceptional surgeon and team while helping patients become the best version of themselves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, often cheering them on from the sidelines at their basketball games. In her free time, she also loves traveling, staying active with fitness, skiing, reading, and playing bridge with friends.
