"I had a Blepharoplasty procedure performed by Dr. Mark Petroff at The Petroff Center about 3 weeks ago. I was very pleased with the entire experience including consultation, surgery and follow up. The staff and Dr. Petroff were courteous, professional and knowledgeable and the facilities were beautiful and very clean. My surgery went very well with minor discomfort and no pain. I continue to heal and I am told that total recovery takes about 3 months. I have small bumps along the incision scars on both eyes which should heal as recovery progresses. I would recommend The Petroff Center to family and friends."

"It's been 2+ weeks since my Blepharoplasty, I am so thrilled that I had this procedure done with Dr. Mark Petroff. I live in FL and Nantucket, did my research and when I toured the Petroff Center, I booked my appointment immediately! From my initial contact with Brianne, to my final ultrasound procedure with Whitney, I cannot give enough kudos to the team there. Everyone is so professional, the center is very modern, contemporary and extremely neat and clean. Dr. Petroff's nurse Christy, called me two weeks prior to the procedure to go over all pre-op/post-op and answer all of my questions. Tiffany, the Nurse Anesthetist, called me the night before my procedure (after putting down her kids!) as well as the night of my procedure to see how I was doing. Unbelievable? When I left the OR, Deanna (Dr. Petroff's OR RN) got me a cup of good hot coffee and some vaseline for my lips. I even went home with a dozen yellow roses and the monogrammed coffee cup! A month before the procedure, I had a printed spiral notebook of all my upcoming appointments and what to expect before, during and after the procedure. I also received Vitamins and a regimen to follow before and after. Since this was my very first cosmetic procedure, it was incredibly helpful information and very thorough. I also want to mention Carly, Dr. Petroff's MA, as she is just as professional at her job as the rest. If you are reading this and contemplating where to have any cosmetic improvements, I can first-hand strongly recommend the Petroff Center. I understand that Dr. Petroff's wife, Karen, is a big part of their growing and very successful business and I'm just very grateful and thankful to everyone there who looked after me including the gals at the reception desk. Thank you!!!"

"Dr Petroff removed the horrible bags under my eyes. Every step of this journey was perfect. His staff was professional, the office was convenient, the operating room was state of the art, and Dr Petroff amazing. My eyes look fabulous and the scars are invisible. Down the road if I need any more facial procedures I have a talented, well educated and professional Dr I can trust."

"It has been 4 months since my facelift. I did not book to have my eyes done at the same time as I didn't know what to expect. Immediately after my facelift was completed, I was so pleased that I booked my eyes to be done 5 weeks later. I am VERY happy with both results and the attention and care I received from the entire Petroff staff. Thank you so much!"

"This is a first class provider. This was the second consultation out of 3 recommendations from my long standing dermatologist. Dr. Petroff gave me lots of time going over my options (versus the first doctor - who gave me 5 minutes) which gave me the confidence to have the procedure done. The staff is caring and the little details of the office are reassuring to their attention to detail - from the enhanced vitamins; the individualized "brochure"; ultrasound options; makeup lessons; high class coffee - and flowers!! I'm just starting week 3 so it's still too early to judge the final outcome as I'm still numb and the eyes are not fit for public - but I was told in advance of the stages of healing. The doctor truly gives one the sense of his pride in his profession."

"I have hated my nose since I was a teenager. I have an fraternal twin sister who ended up with my mother's cute little nose, while I got my dad's schnoz (as he likes to call it). I always thought that someday I would do it and then, after series of life changing events, I decided that time was now at 28 years old. I began looking around for surgeons in the Portland area, reading reviews, etc, but was having trouble picking which one would be the best. Its hard to trust someone you don't know with your face, no matter how great their reviews may be. Then my long time childhood friend took the plunge and got the procedure done by one of the surgeons I had been looking at. Her results looked fantastic. Not too much, not too little, so I made the consultation appointment. My advice when going into a consult is to have as many questions as you can think of already written down. Make sure you know exactly what you want to be different about your nose so you can communicate that with your surgeon, so you get the best results. They will tell you if its doable or not. I went in wanting two things but after discussing the it with the doctor decided on three major changes: taking away the width from the bridge (my bridge was abnormally wide), making the bridge shorter and then my doctor suggested changing the tip so it wasn't pointed down so much, which I agreed with but not until he pointed it out. One good piece of advice he gave me to pass on is: almost always have an open procedure. If you don't the tip of your nose will not look right. Its very rare to change the bridge with out slightly altering the tip and having it look balanced. I scheduled the surgery for December 10th (just yesterday!) and even though I am still in the beginning stages of recovery I am so glad I did it. Here are some things to consider that I didn't at first: -Anesthesia: if they give you an option go for the twilight anesthesia, its less risky. I was scared to do it this way at first but actually preferred it to general. I didn't feel sick and I could leave 30min after my procedure was done. -Have someone that will take care of you for at least the first 24 if not 48 ( my twin sis was so helpful, I wouldn't have made it through that first day with out her). She changed all my nose "dressings," made me food and got me ice. - Make sure you get all your loose ends tied up before surgery: clean your house, pay bills, get tons of movies, easy to make food, etc. -Go into it knowing that having a couple days in which is feel depressed or regretful of your choice is totally normal. -Ice, ice, ice! I don't think my face would be so swollen had I iced more in the beginning. Its one of those things you have to stay ahead of Now that I am almost two days post surgery I am finally feeling a little less zombie like. My eyes are incredible black and swollen but I went in for my first post op visit and the doctor said that it was fine. He said that some people get all of their bleeding and swelling all at once, while other people have it come on later. Even though the cast is still on, I can tell its so much smaller!!! I am so excited and will post pictures when my face calms down.Updated on 12 Dec 2012:Also: My surgeon offered a vitamin program for surgery/trauma that helped so much. It was $100 but worth it! If yours does not the main two that helped were: Arnica Montana 30X HPUS and Bromelain w/ Quercetin"

"Dr. Petroff is an artist! 10 years ago he did my eyes and the results will last another 10. 6 months ago he performed a lower face lift. Recovery was swift and I am confident the results will last and last. Comments I have received vary from, "You look beautiful, have you lost weight?" to, "You look more than 10 years younger!" He is the best of the best. My confidence in his procedures and practices is unwavering and his nurses and staff were professional and attentive. Thank you Dr. Petroff and the Petroff Center!"

"Deep Plane Face Lift - Oregon - It has been 2 weeks after the face-lift. My face feels Pulled back,, & VERY TIGHT. Neck is tight. I actually looked pulled back, even though the doctor indicated that deep plane lift do not result in pulled back look. His before & after pictures looked good. He has had 20 years of experience. I don't look like myself, & can't sleep well at night. I am scared I will have a permanent pulled back look. The doctor stated everything should relax over the next 2 to 3 months. I am VERY DISSAPOINTED!!  Updated on 8 Jan 2011:I will wait 3 to 4 months & post my results. Hopefully everything will settle with time as indicated by oldnew.Updated on 22 Jul 2011:Hello all: It has now been 7 months now since my face lift. I am sooo better. My face has settled, & doesn't look tight anymore. In fact I had to get some fillers under my eyes (restalane) & Radiasse for my cheeks/nasolabial folds...to give me that "youthful look". I am 52, and people think I am in my late 20's. early 30's. Everything has settled nicely. Now after 7 months..I am "loving it". Finally!!! It does take time for everything to settle.Updated on 19 Jan 2015:I had my facelift in 2011. Everything has settled. Now I go in regularly for sculptra, radiesse, Botox etc. To keep myself looking as young as I feel. I feel like I'm thirty something, but am 56.... Yikes!! Time flies fast! I hope to continue aging gracefully, although wanting a natural graceful aging vs "Joan Rivers" look (God rest her soul). You must do your homework and look for highly qualified plastic surgeons with excellent reputations when it comes to surgery, vs a doctor trying to make "a fast buck". I am pleased with my outcome. For my face I went with a facial plastic surgeon."
