"My first encounter with Petroff Center was in 2011. As Mother of the Bride I wanted to look my best. Fast forward to 2024, I desired to have my face and neck improved for a more youthful appearance. Dr Petroff and staff provide a “First Class Experience.” I am a OR RN of 20 + years and most important to me was having the best surgeon and staff in an accredited surgery center. Dr Petroff is a gifted and talented world class surgeon. Patients are fortunate to have him practice here in the Pacific NW. "The nurses, support staff, and Dr. Petroff were amazing every step of the way, from my first appointment through facial surgery and beyond. Highly recommend The Petroff Center. In August of 2023, I had a brow lift with facelift done by Dr. Petroff. The outcome is fantastic. Not only am I a younger looking me, but the facelift reconstructed a scar on my face that I'd lived with for 10 years. In 2013, my ENT doctor discovered a tumor in my salivary gland. The tumor had to be surgically removed from my left parotid salivary gland. While the tumor removal was successful, it left a deep indentation on my face, just in front of my left ear; in addition, I developed a condition called Frey's Syndrome due to trauma to the auriculotemporal nerve. This means that when I ate, or even thought about food, I experienced intense gustatory sweating from the parotidectomy surgical scar. Basically, the nerve would produce moisture (sweat) on the facial scar when I was supposed to be salivating. Yikes! (Napkins came in very handy!) Well, the amazing miracle is that Dr. Petroff filled the scar indentation in front of my ear by recruting fat from my lower jawline. And, at the same time, he removed the area of skin and damagerd nerve that cause the Frey's Syndrome. I three months post facial surgery and I am so happy about having plastic surgery at the Petroff Center. I just wish I'd done it sooner!"

"Thank you so much Dr. Petroff. From the moment I walked into the Petroff Center I was so very completely taken care of by experienced, friendly, and competent staff. I found Dr. Petroff to be a very talented and brilliant plastic surgeon. The facelift I received made my kids say “Mom! You look 30 years younger!” (slight exaggeration). I received the best care and from the best doctor ever! Dr. Mark Petroff is a perfectionist. I look amazing and feel wonderful after only two weeks post surgery! I am two weeks out from surgery. I have had two ultrasound appointments to reduce swelling (heavenly), a makeup session to learn to cover bruising (licensed estheticians), my staples and stitches removed by two different nurses with the most steady and gentle hands ever, and regular check-ups with Dr. Petroff. I know that people who watch too much television about plastic surgery might think this is a vanity field. I know that for Dr. Petroff and his staff, this is not about vanity. They genuinely understand that how we look is a reflection of how we feel and how we feel is reflected in how we look. By honoring their clients, they honor the value of self care. "Dr. Petroff is meticulous! - Four months ago Dr. Petroff performed my lower facelift and chin implant surgery and in my opinion the experience and results are the finest possible.I’ve had 3 prior plastic surgeries mostly on a congenital body issue. Two of the surgeries successful, and one, a very bad experience. I’m knowledgeable of what can go right, or wrong, with a surgeon. I spent two years researching physicians to perform my facial surgery, consulting with four. I was scared because of my prior bad experience and this surgery was on my face. All the quotes varied only by a few hundred bucks. Why am I so impressed with Dr. Petroff?1) He’s only performs surgery from the neck up. Why would one trust their face to someone who ‘specializes’ in the whole body? How can you ‘specialize’ in everything?2) Dr. Petroff is a serious guy. He isn’t the cheer leader type that’s going to convince you that surgery will change your life. He’s re-assuring about what can be done, but he is not going to convince you to do it. He’s patient, kind, quiet and gentle. I think he prefers to under promise and over deliver. 3) His approach to anesthesia. This is at the top of my list. Do not be afraid of the twilight anesthesia. When he says “at times you’ll be awake but you won’t care”, he means it. It was so much easier to get out of my system. I felt great after. Not one unpleasant painful moment during the whole thing. I loved Jeannie his anesthesiologist and wished I could take her home.4) He consulted with me twice. No Problem. It’s a good thing too, because we decided to change the chin implant type. A decision I absolutely love. Don’t be afraid to talk to him. You must communicate what you are thinking.5) Dr. Petroff is meticulous in every way.His sutures: Tiny, meticulous and invisible in a month.His staff: You find a team of beautiful, kind gals who operate that office and operating room like a fine tuned Swiss watch. It was quickly notable how Dr. Petroff and this staff had thought of absolutely everything. The experience was so meticulous I actually mentioned it. They were appreciative that I noticed and confirmed, it is in fact, intentional. I loved them all and actually miss them now that it’s over. His office building: It beautiful! The furnishings are stunning! He has a separate waiting room for surgery patients and their family. It really puts you at ease. It’s clear that Dr. Petroff is a successful surgeon and I love that he chooses to reinvest back into his practice and appreciates beautiful surroundings. It tells me, beauty, is a high priority for him.6) Dr. Petroff sends you home with roses. Who does that? Not one surgeon ever before. A detail and cost not required, but chooses to do it anyway. "Ultherapy at 65 - Lake Oswego, OR - After reading some of the negative reviews regarding ultherapy I was very hesitant to do it and almost didn't. I have had a fraxel treatment in the past and had other laser treatments without harmful effects so I decided to cross my fingers and try it. I'm so glad I did. It has been 3 weeks and it looks like I had a lower face lift without going through surgery! My neck is so much tighter - the sagging skin under the chin is almost gone. The labial folds around my mouth are so diminished I may not even get the juvederm filler! The procedure under the neck was a little painful. I should have taken 2 pain pills before I had it done but only took one. However the pain lasts only a short time and the results were well worth it - far better than surgery! My cost was a package special that included juvederm, botox and a couple of chemical peels. I think the procedure without the extras was about $4000. However, if you're looking for a little tightening I would fully recommend this."

"I have known for years that I would pursue cosmetic surgery, probably since my early 40's. The moon & the stars had to line up perfectly and one day, when I was 62 , that happened. All the obticals in front of me resolved. It was time to decide to go forward or stop thinking about it.. My motivation was simple. I have always been physically fit, couldn't spend much time in the sun because I burned, never smoked, rarely drank, hardly ever drank through a straw so where did all those wrinkles come from? My parents were both good looking people but I got their wrinkle genes. 2 things helped me go forward: a very supportive husband (he did not push me to do this but said he would be my support) & the reflection in the mirror. We start our day looking in the mirror, pulling our sagging skin upwards or tugging on our brow. ( wow maybe that was the cause of my wrinkles). I started hearing "you look tired" way too often. I was not tired! Fast forward....... I spent months gathering info on who I wanted to help me . Everyone I chatted with came up with another name to google. One name stood out: Mark Petroff. He had performed a facelift on my girlfriend 15 years ago. She still looks great and she is 8 years older than myself. I have never forgotten his name and knew when I was ready he would be a contender. Our interview went well. Always take a friend or spouse so you can compare notes later. Dr. Petroff was a good listener and was able to clarify questions that came up later. My plan was always to have at least 3 different interviews for comparison. After our interview, both my husband & I did not feel the need to continue looking. We found the person we both felt confident in. The searching was done! My surgery was in May. I was impressed with all of the staff at the Petroff Center. They tend to every need, reduce the anxiety with explanations , expressions and a gentle touch. Dr. Petroff has employees to be proud of. I am almost a week post op and feel so good. (no heavy drugs on board either). A job well done Dr. Petroff!!!!"

"Four weeks ago I had a facelift with under eye surgery. The results exceeded my expectations. I was back in my dance class after just two weeks and received comments like 'you look so pretty', 'rested' and 'young'. No one suspected I had surgery. I have no visible scars and can wear my hair up . I was worried about scaring because I have thin and delicate skin but even the bruising was minimal. Dr. Petroff is an artist, customizing every detail to the individual. If you are reading this review it is likely you are considering having a procedure. There is no reason to be afraid, I experienced only mild discomfort and the doctor and his staff were beside me every step. I felt respected, informed, and safe. I don't look like myself, & can't sleep well at night. I am scared I will have a permanent pulled back look. The doctor stated everything should relax over the next 2 to 3 months. I am 52, and people think I am in my late 20's. early 30's. Everything has settled nicely. Now after 7 months..I am "loving it". Finally!!! It does take time for everything to settle.Updated on 19 Jan 2015:I had my facelift in 2011. Everything has settled. Now I go in regularly for sculptra, radiesse, Botox etc. To keep myself looking as young as I feel. I feel like I'm thirty something, but am 56.... Yikes!! Time flies fast! I hope to continue aging gracefully, although wanting a natural graceful aging vs "Joan Rivers" look (God rest her soul). You must do your homework and look for highly qualified plastic surgeons with excellent reputations when it comes to surgery, vs a doctor trying to make "a fast buck". I am pleased with my outcome. For my face I went with a facial plastic surgeon."

Yes, his bedside manner could have been better, but I was looking for the outcome. He doesn't do a lot of hand holding, but gets right down to it ( what else can you expect from a surgeon). He's not touchy freely, but knows his stuff. When I'm ready for a second face lift in 10 to 15 years, I hope he's still around to do my second facelift."

"Deep Plane Face Lift - Oregon - Dr. Petroff is good & knows what he's doing. I was looking for results and he provided that for me. Yes, his bedside manner could have been better, but I was looking for the outcome. He doesn't do a lot of hand holding, but gets right down to it ( what else can you expect from a surgeon). He's not touchy freely, but knows his stuff. When I'm ready for a second face lift in 10 to 15 years, I hope he's still around to do my second facelift."
