Masseter botox and chin liposuction*

This patient who was bothered by the roundness of her face and excess fat under her chin which never seemed to go away despite exercise and a clean diet. She also complained of bothersome TMJ jaw pain. Dr. Brian Scott used Botox to slim her face by addressing her overactive and large masseter muscle. This not only slimmed the face but also relieved her TMJ pain. Fortunately, this treatment doesn’t lead to any issues with chewing or eating. Her neck and jawline were then treated with liposuction to remove excess fat and help create a perfect contour.
